The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises that individuals aged 65 and above incorporate aerobic, muscle-strengthening, and balance activities each week. The guidance includes at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity activity, along with muscle-strengthening activity at least two days a week. Balance activities are also recommended. Even if full recommendations are not possible, any amount of physical activity can support general wellness and the ability to manage daily tasks.
